Abstract

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an accepted imaging method for diagnosing cervical cancer staging before therapy and for recurrent cervical carcinoma. This review article describes the usefulness and the limits of MRI in the diagnosis of cervical cancer. Typical manifestations are illustrated with sample images.
