Abstract
CuO/MgO catalysts with various shapes have been obtained by using morphology-controlled synthesis technology. It is demonstrated that there is a remarkable difference in catalytic activity for CO oxidation among these samples. However, when all these catalysts react with water before calcination, their shapes become irregular and similar, consequently, the difference of their catalytic activities disappears.
