The medical advances now enable more and more women with chronic congenital or acquired diseases to become pregnant. For these women, the question of the possibility of pregnancy arises and must be addressed, preferably before the beginning of it. The pre-conception clinic is an essential step that allows to evaluate the current status of the ongoing disease and to assess the risks to mother and child. The contraindications are rare but for many pathologies changes during pregnancy are highly variable from one patient to another and unpredictable. Maternal complications can occur during pregnancy but also in postnatal period during which the monitoring should be continued.
