The Lasegue sign or straight leg raise (SLR) test is a clinical test to assess nerve root irritation in the lumbosacral area. This test is an integral part of the neurological examination of the patients presenting with low back pain with or without radicular symptoms. The other less commonly used name is the Lazarevic sign (see Image. Lasegue Sign).
