Refractory ventricular fibrillation complicating acute myocardial infarction terminated by intracoronary stenting

Cathet Cardiovasc Diagn. 1996 Feb;37(2):174-7. doi: 10.1002/(SICI)1097-0304(199602)37:2<174::AID-CCD16>3.0.CO;2-K.

Abstract

We report on a case of intractable recurrent ventricular fibrillation that responded poorly to antiarrhythmic medication and balloon angioplasty, but resolved instantaneously following intracoronary stenting.
