[The energy parameters of the liver mitochondria under the prolonged action of halothane in vitro]

Abstract

The effect of 10-, 30-, 60-, 90-, and 120-min exposure to halotane vapors on the energy parameters of mitochondria of the liver of albino rats was studied in in vitro experiments. In long-term contact of the mitochondria with halotane the respiratory and phosphorylation function of the mitochondria in oxidation of PAD- and NAD-dependent substrates was disturbed.
